I felt rejected from local ophthalmologists trying to dismiss my concerns and not giving me a game plan to treat my son's amblyopia, saying that because he wasn't failing in school yet, that there was no problem. “I am so grateful I found out about this program when I was searching for a solution for my son Damian. We worked with his Amazing Coach Dr. Eldon McMuray. Damian struggled to read for many years. He would read a word, and then two lines down he would not know it was the same word. He would mix up P's B's and D's and couldn't seem to sound out words. “This program has been a life changer for us!! At the beginning of her 3rd grade year my daughter was reading below a first grade level. Her school that she had gone to since kindergarten was super helpful and we tried so many different programs and extra tutoring and nothing seemed to help. "So about 4 months ago we went to Kaylee's eye doctor. She's been dealing with her lazy eye since she was about 2 years old. Her official diagnosis is strabismus, right eye estropia and amblyopia. Based on her eyes looked, he wanted to try plus glasses and then if that didn't help then look into surgery. I didn't love this even because the pre surgery sheet says it's a brain problem. But we ordered her the glasses. Anyway Dr. McMurray has suggested to read this book [Leo Angart’s Magic Eyes: Vision training for children] for a while and I just hadn't gotten around to it. So I finally read it and after 2 weeks of her wearing glasses we decided to try the suggestions from the book. So basically we have been doing the exercises in her bad eye to improve the vision in that eye to help with the crossing. They are on page 99 & 141 but I'd read the whole book. We have only done that exercise about 14 times along with her regular exercises from Dr. McMurray. On our home eye chart she started at 20/125 and before her follow up appointment 2 weeks ago she was at 20/40 in that right eye and the crossing doesn't happen. So we went to her appointment with her eye doctor and he was shocked at her progress! Told us to keep doing what we were doing and he wouldn't suggest glasses or surgery based on where she was at." - Private
